Billionaire businessman and politician, Prince Ned Nwoko, has addressed speculations of a reunion with his wife and Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, saying he is surprised by claims that “we are back together.”
In a statement released to the media, Prince Nwoko said he recently granted Regina access to their children, emphasizing that as a father, he would never stand between his children and their mother’s affection.
“What I don’t understand is how everybody is saying we are back together,” Nwoko stated. “I opened my doors and gave her the freedom to come and see our children because, as a father, I can never stand between my children and the affection of their mother. Whatever may have happened between us, the children should never carry the weight of it.”
According to him, during the visit, Regina appealed for reconciliation, repeatedly asking for forgiveness and another chance.
“She kept saying, ‘Daddy, please I’m sorry, we need to talk. Daddy, please give me another chance. Daddy, I am still your sweet baddie,’” he recounted.
Prince Nwoko, however, said he made it clear that while he holds no bitterness, any genuine reconciliation must begin with a public clarification.
“I listened quietly and told her: I hold no hatred against you. Even after everything that has been said about me on social media, I have chosen not to answer bitterness with bitterness,” he said.
“But if you truly mean what you are saying, then go back to the same social media where my name was dragged through the mud and tell them the truth. Let your actions prove that your heart is sincere. I am not closing the door; I am simply waiting for the truth to walk through it.”
The businessman stressed that his priority remains the welfare of his children and urged that personal matters not be reduced to social media speculation.
The development comes amid weeks of online rumors suggesting that the couple had reconciled after a period of public disagreements.
Prince Nwoko concluded that he remains open to dialogue but insists that truth and accountability must precede any restoration of the relationship.
