The newly appointed Deputy National Youth Leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Comrade Emmanuel Ehigbor Ogbidi, has pledged total commitment to service, organisation and mobilisation of Nigerian youths ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Comr. Ogbidi made the pledge in a statement of appreciation following his appointment into the National Working Committee of the party.
In the statement titled “COMMITMENT TO SERVICE”, Ogbidi expressed profound gratitude to his political mentor and National Leader of the NDC, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, for the confidence reposed in him.
He also thanked the leadership of the party ably led by Senator Moses Cleopas, for giving him the opportunity to serve the party and humanity in that capacity.
“I thank my mentor, the National Leader of the NDC, H.E, Dist. Sen. Henry Seriake Dickson, and the leadership of our great party, ably led by Sen. Moses Cleopas, for giving me the opportunity to serve our party and humanity in this capacity,” Ogbidi stated.
The Deputy Youth Leader promised to be committed to sensitizing, organizing, mobilizing and galvanizing youths across the country as the party matches to victory from top to bottom in 2027.
“I shall be committed to service, sensitising, organising, mobilising and galvanising our youth as we match to victory (Top-Bottom) come 2027,” he assured.
Comr. Ogbidi, whose campaign mantra is “Stronger Together, Brighter Tomorrow” anchored on Good Politics, Brighter Possibilities, said his core focus will be on Service, Organisation, Mobilisation and Youth Engagement.
Political observers describe his appointment as a strategic move by the NDC to energize its youth base and strengthen its grassroots structure ahead of the crucial 2027 polls.
Comrade Engr Emma Ogbidi is the immediate past president of the Network Of Civil Society Organization of Nigeira ,Edo State.
