The Esama of Benin, His Excellency, Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, hosted a grand birthday celebration in honor of Professor Lawrence Ezemonye, Vice Chancellor of Igbinedion University, Okada, as he turns 70.
The event was a testament to the renowned generosity of the House of Igbinedion.
A beautifully decorated cake stood tall before Professor Ezemonye, who beamed with joy. Flanked by his wife, Professor Mary Ezemonye, and principal officers, he cut the cake to thunderous applause.
The Chairman of the occasion and Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration IUO, Professor Osaretin Izevbuwa, highlighted the celebrant’s remarkable contributions to Igbinedion University.
Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion led tributes, describing Professor Ezemonye as a transformative leader.

The 70th birthday celebration reached its pinnacle as the Esama of Benin presented Professor Ezemonye with a luxury car gift. Former Governor Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion handed over the keys amid cheers.
