Nwabuoku, who is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), faces a nine-count amended charge bordering on alleged money laundering totalling ₦868,465,000.
At the last court sitting, the defence counsel, Isadore Udenko, had informed the court of his client’s intention to file a no-case submission at the next hearing. However, during Wednesday’s proceedings, the defence said it needed more time to finalise preparations for the application.
