Benin City, Edo State – The Edo State Government House Chapel has invited the public to its 2026 Special Easter Programme, themed “THE RISEN CHRIST AND RISEN EDO STATE”.
In a statement, the event host Apostle Sule Faraday Azehumen, who is also the Special Adviser on Religious Matters and chaplain government house chapel , described the special easter programme as “a divine convergence of power and prophecy which aims to bring a “heavy outpouring of the Spirit”,with Edo State Governor ,Senator Monday Okpebholo expected to grace the programme as the chief host.
The event, scheduled for Monday, April 6th, 2026, at 10:00 AM, will feature prominent religious leaders, including the CAN Chairman Edo State Apostle General Dr Irekpono Omoike, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Apostle Favour Mopa Awom, Pastor Obby Okeke,Pastor Emmanuel O. Ibiwoye, Rev. (Dr.) Phil Aroje, Pastor Aburime-Walter Courage Iziegbe, Bishop Ohis-elahke Imoukhede ,Major Ime Akpam (The Salvation Army) ,Evangelist Emmanuel Samuel Ekong and Bishop Osamuyimen Ogbeziuwa Isibor
Other ministers expected at the august occasion are Amb. Evang. E. Emeka Ekwugha J.P. Prince Aidenogie OmogwaPastor Joy Okhai, Rev. (Dr.) Best Ehinomen,Apostle Ehijele Onuayan,Archbishop Prof. Shekinah Omorogbe,Rev. (Dr.) Steve Leon,Archbishop Dr Jubril Eshobode among others.
The 2026 Government House Chapel Special Easter programme is expected to draw Christians and non-Christians alike, promoting unity and spiritual rejuvenation in Edo State.
