The African Democratic Congress, Esan South East Local Government chapter, Edo State has welcomed a high-profile former member, House of Representatives, Barrister Sergius Ogun to its ranks.
Chairman of the party’s local government chapter Mr Ihonvien Collins, who led a delegation of party executives to receive Barrister Ogun, a former member of the House of Representatives, Esan North East and Esan South East Federal Constituency, commended Barrister Ogun for his developmental strides in executing people-oriented projects with direct impact on the people. The ADC Chairman says Barrister Ogun’s decision to join the ADC is a testament to the party’s growing influence and appeal in the state and expressed optimism that Barrister Ogun’s experience and expertise will be invaluable assets to the party.
The party’s leadership which also endorsed Barrister Ogun’s quest for the Edo Central Senatorial seat under the platform of the ADC pledged to work closely with Barrister Ogun to build a stronger, more vibrant party that will make a positive difference in the lives of Edo people.

As the ADC continues to grow and build momentum in Edo State, following its emergence as the coaltion platform for the Nigeria National Coalition Group with former Senate President David Mark as the Interim national chairman, the party’s leadership in Edo State is optimistic about the prospects of winning more elections and making a lasting impact on the state’s political landscape.
